With over 13 years of experience in the media industry, Alessandra Foresto is a passionate and skilled content operations leader, with a mission to create engaging, impactful, and diverse content for millions of readers. Ale currently leads newsroom operations and resource management for POPSUGAR, one of the largest online media brands for women, and part of the Vox Media network.

In her role as the Executive Director of Operations, she oversees editorial systems and processes, the operating budget, affiliate commerce and freelance operations, talent recruitment strategy, and the brand’s analytics-driven content strategy. She works closely with the editorial, social, distribution, design, and video teams, as well as the Vox Media engineering and product teams, to ensure that the brand’s content creation workflows are streamlined, SEO referral growth is maximized, reader retention and recirculation are optimized, and user experience and brand impact are enhanced. She also leverages her expertise in newsroom, budget, and affiliate management to drive revenue, efficiency, and quality across the brand.

Ale is also an experienced content strategist, writer and editor. Her writing for O, the Oprah Magazine's "Hair Extravaganza" won a 2014 National Magazine Award for Leisure Interests.
